Volvo XC40 goes on sale early 2018 in UAE

With already plenty of vehicles already on offer across the UAE in all shapes and sizes. Some might say the market is overflowing, but Volvo has differing opinions as they are gearing up to sell the 2018 Volvo XC40 in the UAE next year.

Inside, the Volvo XC40 benefits from a wide range of premium options including a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, wireless phone charger and much more.

Of course, this wouldn’t be a Volvo without numerous advanced safety features. Highlights include a 360-degree camera and emergency braking.

Power comes courtesy of a four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine driving each corner. Producing 247 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque the premium crossover launches to 100km/h in 6.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 230 km/h thanks to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

Further into the 2018 Volvo XC40 life cycle, a plug-in hybrid is said to join the lineup with a three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine as well as a fully electric drivetrain.
