Based on the popular Avanza micro-van, the 2019 Toyota Rush is the latest model to be offered in the UAE from Toyota. While not necessarily a brand new car to the automotive company, it’s the first time the practical SUV is being sold by local distributors.
What options does the 2019 Toyota Rush offer?
Toyota UAE offers just one trim level of the Toyota Rush. The Rush EX offers a wide variety of features. For starters, the cabin is fitted with seven fabric seats, Bluetooth connectivity, multi-function steering wheel, AUX and USB inputs, four-speaker sound system, push start engine button and automatic climate control.
Moving to the exterior, the model is fitted with eye-catching 17-inch alloys, rear spoiler, roof rails, fog lights, LED headlights and power door mirrors.
On the safety front, the Toyota Rush gets dual front and side curtain airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear parking sensors, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) and Anti-Lock Brakes System (ABS).
All of what is mentioned above is standard, as of writing, there are no known additional extras.
Compared to its rivals, the number of seats alone plus its larger size is enough to put it ahead.
Customers can choose from five distinct exterior colours; Bronze Mica Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic, Black Metallic and White.
Power comes courtesy of a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine good for 103 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 135 Nm of torque. Rear while drive is standard as is a four-speed automatic gearbox.
Pricing starts at AED 68,500 (VAT included), and the model is now available in the UAE.
