The year 2025 is shaping up to be monumental for automotive enthusiasts, with several impressive supercars set to debut over the year. From hybrids to all-electric supercars, the upcoming supercars and hypercars promise a thrilling 2025. Let’s dive into the top 10 supercars launching in 2025.
1. Lamborghini Temerario
Lamborghini is all set to bolster its lineup with the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario, a hybrid supercar that combines the aggression Lamborghinis are known for and seriously impressive technology. It is the successor to the Lamborghini Huracan, with an all-new aluminium subframe. Yes, it is a hybrid, but it hasn’t lost any of Lamborghini’s mentalist goodness — its V8 revs all the way to 10,000rpm!
Highlights:
- Powertrain: Twin-turbocharged V8 + three axial-flux electric motors
- Total Output: 907hp | 800Nm
- 0-100km/h: 2.7 seconds
- Top Speed: 343km/h
The Temerario introduces a new design language while maintaining the signature Lamborghini DNA. It also offers more space than the Huracan inside the cabin in addition to heated and ventilated seats.

2. Lexus Supercar (LFA Successor?)
After a long wait, Lexus is back in the supercar game with the spiritual successor to the iconic LFA. The Lexus LFA is one of the greatest cars of all time, and producing even a ‘spiritual’ successor to it would be a task. However, Lexus has been testing its new supercar, and going by the spy pictures and videos, it might just be magical. Rumours suggest it might be called the Lexus LFR.
It features a setup similar to GT3 endurance racecars. Spy videos of the supercar testing at the Nurburgring reveal the car starting off quietly in EV mode from the pitlane, and the V8 engine kicking in at the pitlane exit. The V8 at full chat does sound pretty raw, although it does fade in comparison to the glorious 5.0-litre V10 that powers the Lexus LFA.
Highlights:
- Powertrain: Hybrid V8
- Total Output: TBD
- 0-100km/h: TBD
- Top Speed: TBD

3. 2025 Corvette ZR1 & Corvette Zora
The Chevrolet Corvette is among the most iconic cars of all time. Known as ‘America’s Sports Car,’ eight generations of the Chevrolet Corvette have been produced so far. Traditionally, the Corvette ZR1 has been the most powerful trim of the sports car, with the previous generation ZR1 producing 755hp.
Expected to launch in 2025, the new Chevrolet Corvette will be the first production Corvette to feature turbocharging, resulting in a 1,064hp output. If that wasn’t enough, 2025 will also see the arrival of the new Corvette Zora, the first hybrid supercar/sports car produced by the brand. The Zora is designed to push the boundaries of what a Corvette can be with 1,224hp on tap.
2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Highlights:
- Powertrain: 5.5L Twin-Turbo V8
- Total Output: 1,064hp
- 0-100km/h: TBD

In 2017, Tesla announced a second generation of the Roadster and showcased prototypes that could accelerate from 0-100km/h in 1.9 seconds.
However, Tesla’s production development as it turns out is nowhere as quick. Seven years after it was first showcased, the 2nd Generation Tesla Roadster is finally set to go into production in 2025. With mind-boggling acceleration and a long electric range, it’s designed to be both a track weapon and a practical everyday electric supercar. In 2024, Elon Musk stated that the goal with the new Roadster would be a 0-100km/h time of under 1 second!

Bugatti-Rimac is a joint venture between two iconic brands known for their incredible high-performance cars — Buggati & Rimac. The yet-to-be-named hypercar that results from this joint venture will be powered by an internal combustion engine that’s ‘Totally Bonkers’ according to Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of the Rimac Group.
If the insane V16 engine in the recently revealed Bugatti Tourbillon isn’t bonkers enough, we’re not sure what is. Not much is known about the hypercar for now, however, we expect more details to be revealed in the months that lead up to its release. Both Bugatti and Rimac have redefined speed and performance with combustion engines and electric powertrains respectively. Hence, we can expect this hypercar to offer the best of both worlds.
