With the Merc X-Class confirmed and on the way to a showroom in select parts of the world in the near future, this leaves select lovers of the German brand hopelessly lost when it comes to a Merc pickup. Not to worry as there appears to be a G-Class Pickup on the way and it’s stock.
Before we get into the juicy details, you may already be saying to yourself that these already exist. Yes, there was the monstrous G 63 AMG 6X6 and there are plenty of custom car shops that will create a G-Class pickup for you.
Spied with what can only be described by as large box attached to mask the vehicles new bed. But how can you tell that? The G-Class is pretty boxy as it is. True, however, look a little closer and you can see a break half way up and there are no visible windows in the top half.
Not much is known about the upcoming G-Class pickup aside from its construction as it’ll utilise an increased amount of aluminium and high-strength steel to keep the weight low.
Following in the footsteps of the redesigned G-Class which is set to debut later this year, the G-Class pickup is to measure in wider but shorter in length to accommodate uprated suspension and other tweaks to the chassis.
Let us know what you think of the G-Class pickup below or the most luxurious delivery van and if you would like to purchase an ultra luxurious German SUV, dubicars.com has new Mercedes-Benz G-Class and used Mercedes-Benz G-Class for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.
Shout out to Motor Authority for the pics.
