Made available to order not too long ago, the Renault Megane GT is now available across the Middle East for all to enjoy. The newest member of the Megane family, Renaults latest hot hatch is not to be taken lightly.
Tuned by Renault Sport, the Megane GT boasts a sportier look backed up by a TCE 205 petrol engine connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Delivering 205 horsepower, the hatch to launch from 0-100 km/h in a swift 7.1 seconds.
Thanks to 4Control, the Megane GT offers first-class road handling. The 4Control chassis controls rear-wheel steering offering drivers an unprecedented and unrivalled driving experience.
Starting with the exterior, the Megane GT proudly wears a sporty front grille and bumper, front C shape Day Time Running Lights (DRL) and full LED headlights, plus Renault Sport and GT logo on the front wings and rear. Speaking of the rear, LED taillights illuminate the back with a unique 3D light pattern meanwhile, 18-inch GT Magny-Cours alloy wheels adorn each corner and ensure the model sticks out from the rest.
Features galore for the new Megane GT
Moving inside, customers will find a GT Nappa leather steering wheel, GT style alloy pedals and Renaults signature R-Link 2 system. By using an 8.7-inch touchscreen multimedia interface, users can access a variety of features. Rear view camera, easy park assist, electric parking brake, Renault Smart Card and Renault Sport mode switch button: RS Drive just to name a few.
Although, Renault may have built the vehicle with the French automaker has taken driver comfort and convenience in mind with features such as the multi-sense selector which allows drivers to adjust engine performance, sound, steering and variable damping via four unique modes; Comfort, Normal, Sport and Personal.
Furthermore, the new Megane GT features a premium BOSE sound system which has been created via a joint effort between the French marque and BOSE. Thanks to precise positioning of the loudspeaker at the front of the cabin, the cabin is surrounded by eight high-performance loudspeakers and a subwoofer installed in the boot.
The Megane GT is now available across the Middle East, with prices starting at $29,000 or AED 106,522 depending on the market.
