PSA: Do not leave hand sanitizers in your car

You’ve probably heard this one to many times, “don’t leave that in the car, will melt or even worse explode!” We here at Dubicars want to remind you not to leave anything flammable inside your car. And we’re not just talking at aftershave, perfume or a lighter.

Hand sanitizers and gloves are also flammable, and with the heat rising across the Emirates, the last thing you want to do is have your car burnt down by germ protection.

It may be easier to leave them in the car instead of taking them upstairs, but in doing so, you could burn your own car. Best to take them with you when you get out.

We noticed over the past few days that when we left our hand sanitizers in the car, the bottles would morph and leak.

Masks can be left in the car.

Don’t just take our word for it. Earlier this month, Abu Dhabi Police announced a similar statement in an effort to warn car owners not to leave hand sanitizers or gloves in their cars.
