Porsche UAE is expanding their hybrid lineup with the latest model being the Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid.
Powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine combined with an electric motor, together they produce 462 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Porsche’s latest green machine is capable of sprinting from 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 253 km/h.
Using just pure electric power, the new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid can traverse 44 kilometres on a single charge at a maximum speed of 135 km/h.
New for the popular hybrid SUV this year is the redesigned drivetrain and gearbox. Starting with the transmission, the latest Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid is fitted with a new eight-speed Tiptronic S gearbox which according to Porsche is smoother and more comfortable while being faster at the same time.
As for the drivetrain, the hybrid unit is comprised of a highly-integrated combination of electric engine and separating clutch.
Porsche have worked diligently to ensure the latest hybrid Cayenne offers the same sports car driving dynamics to other Cayenne models and as standard, the luxury SUV comes with Porsche Traction Mangement and Porsche Active Suspension Managment. Optional features include the electric Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control roll stabilisation system and trailer connection to tow loads of up to 3.5 tonnes.

With the new launch comes a set of new options that can be fitted to one’s vehicle. For the first time, a heads-up display is available as are 22-inch light metal rims, heated windscreen and massage seats.
The new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid is available to order now. Prices start at AED 379,200 including VAT, and first units are expected to arrive in the UAE this June.
