Showcased at a special event held at the Porsche Centre Dubai, the new Porsche Macan is now available in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
Serving as the brand’s compact SUV, the latest iteration receives redesigned headlights with LED technology as standard while a three-dimensional LED light panel prominent illuminates the rear end.
Customers can express their personality with four new exterior colours – Miami Blue, Crayon, Dolomite Silver Metallic and Mamba Green Metallic.
Inside, the latest Macan offers high-quality equipment as standard with Alcantara seat surfaces being one of them. The long list now includes a panoramic sunroof, a 10.9-inch touchscreen, new Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system, ParkAssist, automatically dimming mirrors and a rearview camera.
On top of that, there is a long list of optional extras one can order to fit their new Porsche Macan with. The optional Sport Chrono Package adds a GT sports steering wheel, an analogue clock and a Sport Response Button derived from the Porsche 918 Spyder.
The Macan is available with an enhanced 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder unit rated at 252 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque. It accelerates to 100 km/h from standstill in 6.5 seconds (with the optional Sport Chrono Package) and maxes out at 227 km/h.
The Macan S gets a new V6 engine borrowed from the Cayenne and Panamera lineup. Good for 354 horsepower and 480 Nm of torque, 0-100 km/h is achieved in 5.1 seconds (with the Sport Chrono Package) before hitting a top speed of 254 km/h.
The new Porsche Macan and Macan S are now available in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Prices start at AED 214,800 for the Macan and AED 283,100 for the Macan S.
