Aerodynamics, Suspension & Brakes
Aero:
The Emeya features an active front grille and an adjustable rear spoiler, which adjusts in real time to improve downforce and reduce drag based on driving conditions. These components contribute to a class-leading drag coefficient and generate over 150kg of downforce.
Suspension:
The Emeya is equipped with an advanced air suspension system that can automatically adjust ride height and stiffness. The Continuous Damping Control (CDC) system monitors road conditions and adjusts the shock absorbers in real time to optimise handling and ride quality.
Brakes:
The Emeya is fitted with carbon-ceramic brakes on the top-spec variant, offering superior stopping power and heat dissipation. Like most EVs, the Emeya uses regenerative braking to recover energy during deceleration, which helps extend the driving range.
Exterior Design
The Lotus Emeya’s exterior design reflects the brand’s motorsport heritage while incorporating modern, electric vehicle aesthetics. The Emeya has a low-slung, coupe-like silhouette that emphasises speed and agility, designed to reduce drag and enhance performance.
Exterior features include:
- Twin LED DRLs
