Arriving next month across the GCC, MG has confirmed the arrival of the new generation MG MG6.
With a slight redesign applied to the exterior, MG’s latest model features carbon fibre trim on the front bumper, ‘Star Rider’ front grille, dual chrome exhaust pipes and new headlights with what MG call a ‘London Eye’ design concept.
The sporty look continues inside, with the MG MG6 saloon being decked out with premium leather-wrapped seats, two-tone red and black interior and a smart configurable dashboard and centre console.
Offering plenty of space and enough to make it a class leader in the segment, the all-new MG MG6 boasts a wide range of premium technology including an 8-inch touchscreen colour display with Apple CarPlay, tyre pressure monitoring system, rear-view camera, auto hold function and dual-zone climate control with rear vents are just a few features on the list that are said to come as standard on the MG6.
The driving force behind the MG MG6 is a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine connected to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with optional paddle shifters. The compact, fuel efficient unit produces 169 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.
Pricing for the new model has yet to be revealed in the GCC, and as it arrives in the coming weeks, expect a price to be announced shortly.
Over the years, the Britsh-born brand has seen significant growth across the region with its ever-expanding lineup of crossovers, saloon cars and hatchbacks.
