For those out there looking for a stylish coupe with four doors, sleek lines and plenty of options to choose from, the latest Audi A7 Sportback has arrived in the Middle East and ticks all of the right boxes.
Designed like a coupe but in actual fact is a saloon car, the Audi A7 Sportback offers plenty of room as the luggage area can store up to 535 litres of cargo, and 1,390 litres of cargo with the rear seats folded down.
Standard across the A7 range is the MMI radio with MMI Navigation and MMI Navigation Plus available optionally. Customers can choose between four sound systems with the top of the range models featuring a Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System with 3D sound for rear passengers.
The latest Audi A7 Sportback to arrive in the Middle East is equipped with a new mild hybrid system as standard for improved efficiency as with the new system bolted into place, fuel consumption per 100 km is reduced by 0.7 litres. Paired with the V6 engine is a 48-volt primary electrical system, the A7 also has a Belt Alternator Starter or BAS which works with the lithium-ion battery.
Between speeds of 55 and 160 km/h, the Audi A7 Sportback can cruise with the engine turned off and can be turned back on effortlessly thanks to the BAS.
In the UAE, the Audi A7 Sportback is only available in one trim level; 55 TFSI and is powered by a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine rated at 340 horsepower and is mated to a 7-speed S Tronic transmission. Fitted with Audi’s signature Quattro all-wheel-drive system, the sleek saloon launches from 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds before hitting a top speed of 250 km/h.
The new Audi A7 Sportback is now available in the United Arab Emirates and Middle East region with prices in the UAE set at AED 315,000 including VAT.
