Alongside the new Mini Cooper 3-Door hatchback, the British marque and Abu Dhabi Motors has also launched the new 2024 Mini Countryman electric in Abu Dhabi. The electric crossover SUV with the JCW Kit is priced at AED 250,000.
This comes just a month after the petrol-powered Mini Countryman was launched in the region. Bookings are underway on the brand’s official website. Deliveries of the new Mini Countryman SE have already begun.
Battery & Electric Motor Specs
The Mini Countryman with the John Cooper Works (JCW) Kit is based on the SE spec of the crossover. It is powered by two electric motors, one on each axle. Together, they produce 313hp & 493Nm. Powering the two motors is a 64.6kWh battery pack.

- Acceleration [0 to 100km/h]: 5.3 seconds
- Top Speed: 180km/h
The new Mini Countryman electric also features preset drive modes: Core, Green, Timeless, Balance, Vivid, and Go-Kart. Each of these modes alters the car’s tuning and the Go-Kart mode in particular is interesting. It is the peppiest mode of them all and adds a sporty dimension to the crossover SUV. The mode also adds a John Cooper Works-inspired theme to the cockpit.
Charging
The Countryman SE supports 11kW AC charging, charging the battery pack in about seven hours. DC fast charging at 130kW takes the battery pack from 10 to 80 percent in just 29 minutes.
Exterior Design
The Mini Countryman SE with JCW Kit looks youthful and electric, pun intended. With attractive graphics, bright colour options, and an overall attractive appearance, it’s sure to grab eyeballs. The LED headlamps with the DRL surrounds, closed-off grille with the JCW badging, and 20-inch wheels, all add to its character.

Interior
The interior of the new Mini Countryman Electric is funky and interesting, just like the exterior. A 9.4-inch LED touchscreen is the centrepiece on the dashboard. There is plenty of space for five occupants.
