Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest coupe, the AMG CLE53 Coupe, boasting a powerful heart and stunning aesthetics. Months after the launch of the CLE Coupe, which combines the C-Class and E-Class coupe hierarchy, Mercedes-Benz has now given it the AMG treatment, opening another avenue for performance car buyers.
AMG CLE53: Powertrain & Mechanical Highlights
Under the bonnet, the CLE53 Coupe is propelled by AMG’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine supported by an integrated starter-generator (ISG), enabling mild hybrid technology. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic with power sent to all four wheels via the 4Matic+ AWD system. The performance coupe features rear-wheel steering for quick manoeuvring.

Standard seats feature MB-Tex and microfiber upholstery, with the option to upgrade to Nappa leather. Customers can opt for the optional AMG Performance Seat package that adds well-bolstered seats, a flat-bottom AMG steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather, and aluminium paddle shifters.
