With a powerful presence and excellent towing capabilities, the all-new 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 has arrived in the GCC. However, it’s not all about the power and how much it can haul, the cabin is nothing short of luxury with the interior sporting 57% more leather compared to rivals.
Inside, the 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 features a number of state-of-the-art tech pieces including the award-winning fourth generation Uconnect system available via a 12-inch touchscreen display with split screen compatibility allowing for drivers to use two applications at the same time.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay area also available as is a wireless phone charger embedded into the centre armrest, a new multifunction USB type C ports are standard and allow charging of up to four times faster than ever before.
Parking is usually a hard task in such a big truck but for 2019, the Ram 1500 has a few features to aid the process. This includes front and rear parking sensors, 360-degree camera, blind spot mirrors and rear cross path detection.
Power comes courtesy of a tried and tested 5.7-litre V8 HEMI petrol engine with variable-valve timing for improved efficiency and performance, and cylinder deactivation. Connected to an eight-speed automatic gearbox 395 horsepower at 5,600 rpm is sent to each corner.
Pricing for the all-new 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 has yet to be revealed, but GCC customers can rest easy as all will be available with 5 year / 100,000 km manufacturer warranty and service package.
