If there is anyone better than outdoing you, it’s yourself. That certainly appears to be Dodge’s logic with their latest creation that’s due out later this year. Some would say it has Demonic like properties, but we’ll wait and see when the Dodge Demon hits the GCC.
Dodge Hellcat models that have taken over the standard Challenger and Charger are ridiculously powerful measuring with a mega 707 horsepower and 881 Nm of torque. Dodge Demon models are said to overshadow those numbers but we are unsure of how much?
One could throw around a bunch of numbers that don’t sound too ridiculous. 750 horses or more would do the trick as it would be on par with the upcoming Mustang GT500. It wouldn’t come as a surprise if the Dodge Demon pumped out more to keep the fire raging between the three big American Manufacturers.
The Demon name has used twice in Dodge’s rich history. Way back in the 70’s, it was used as a trim level for a sportier Dart and in 2007, the American attached it to a convertible concept car that unfortunately never saw the light of day.
General Motors announced the Dodge Demon while the Detroit Motor Show was and still is in full swing, meaning we won’t see anything related to the beast until April when the New York Motor Show commences.
