MG Motors, in collaboration with Inter Emirates Motors, unveiled a duo of electric cars set to hit the roads in the UAE. The event took place at Port Rashid, Dubai, featuring the upcoming Marvel R and MG4, both anticipated to debut later this year.
Beyond these electric prospects, the showcase included the ZSEV and HS plug-in hybrid cars. MG currently retails a range of vehicles, including petrol, petrol-hybrid, and pure electric models in the UAE. Excitingly, the lineup is set to expand with the introduction of the Marvel R and MG4 in the near future.
MG Marvel R In The UAE
The Marvel R has undergone extensive testing in the UAE, showcasing MG’s commitment to understanding and catering to our market needs. This electric SUV brings a remarkable combination of spaciousness, advanced features, and an impressive range, positioning itself as a key player in the Middle East’s electric car space.
Under the hood, the Marvel R boasts multiple electric motor setups, providing options for both front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD). Its power is complemented by a 70kWh battery pack, delivering a driving range of over 400 kilometres and equipped with fast charging capabilities. Inside, the cabin is a tech marvel, featuring a 19.4-inch infotainment screen, level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), powered seats, and more.
MG4 In The UAE
The MG4, another star of the event, stands as a compact SUV compared to its larger counterpart, the Marvel R. This pure-electric SUV comes in standard and long-range models, promising an impressive driving range of approximately 350km to 450km on a single charge, depending on the chosen model.
Similar to the Marvel R, the MG4 is a technological fest, featuring a 10.25-inch colour touchscreen, a 7-inch instrument cluster, the MG Pilot Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) safety system, and heated and cooled seats, among others. The electric SUV is equipped with DC fast charging, ensuring a swift recharge for the battery pack.
MG Cyberster Expected To Arrive In The UAE
At the event, MG officials also confirmed that the much-awaited Cyberster electric sports car will be arriving in the UAE soon. Initially, MG will be bringing a couple of units of the Cyberster to showcase it to potential buyers and the media community. The MG Cyberster will be powered by a dual electric motor setup producing 536hp. Earlier, we had reported the Cyberster’s specs getting revealed officially.
