After the successful launch of the incredible Maybach S650 convertible late last year, the German brand felt it has come time to confirm the Maybach SUV that we can only imagine will be just as spectacular as the drop-top model.
While keeping a tight lip on what’s to come, the expensive brand does have a broad range of moulds to choose from including anything ranging from the G-Class, GLS-Class and GLE-Class.
What powers the ultimate German SUV remains a mystery. While a V12 engine with a massive displacement won’t come as a surprise, strong rumours are pointing at all four wheels bring electrified instead.
Could it be a plug-in hybrid V12? Or could we see the first full-electric vehicle from Maybach? As it may come across as a shock as such a brand would ditch their 6-litre motors and other thirsty engines. However, seeing as hybrid and fully-electric motors are all the rave right now, it’s only a matter of time.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a timeframe of when the mammoth will hit showrooms or when we’ll even catch a glimpse of it. All you know that it will be hunting down the Bentley Bentayga, Rolls-Royce Cullinan and the Lamborghini Urus.
Maybach SUV models are expected to be equipped with high-grade leather covering each of the seats, dashboard, steering wheel and door panels along with the latest technology and in-car entertainment.
