Ten long years have gone since the introduction of the Maserati Granturismo, and to remind us that it is still a suitable vehicle in the sports coupe market, the Italian brand has revealed a limited edition GranTurismo to celebrate a decade of excellence.
The GranTurismo Sport Special Edition is its official title, and the vehicle pays homage to the late 50’s where not only did the brand win the Formula One World Championship, their 3500 GT coupe proved to be a hit around the globe.
To set the limited edition GranTurismo apart from standard models, the Italian coupe gets a carbon fibre hood that can either be left naked or painted to match the rest of the vehicle with a large air scoop carefully cut into it. 20-inch gloss black wheels adorn each corner, and more carbon fibre can be found surrounding the mirrors, door handles, front splitter and rear lip spoiler.
Inside, the cabin is covered in Poltrona Fau leather, available in four unique colour combinations to perfectly complement bare carbon fibre trim pieces and exclusive badges.
Only 400 limited edition GranTurismo vehicles will roll out of the Italian stable. Each one is available in limited yet gorgeous shades of paint including the dark red one pictured. Additionally, you can also order you one in four standard colours, but where is the fun in that.
Powering the limited edition model is the brands token 4.7-litre V8 petrol motor rated at 460 horsepower with either an automatic gearbox or a six-speed sequential box instead.
Maserati hasn’t put a price tag on the limited edition GranTurismo nor have they announced when exactly you’d be able to pre-order it. All we know is that we can’t wait to see this bespoke Italian sports coupes on the road.
Until all that information releases, we’ve got new Maserati and used Maserati for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
