During our 2018 Geneva Motor Show roundup, we covered our top picks for the show. It looks like we may have missed one or two quietly tucked away during the event, namely the three Maserati Nerissimo Editions.
Previously revealed last year, the black treatment has been applied to the Levante, Ghibli and Levante models and as you’ve probably already guessed each one features a black lick of paint. That’s not the only part that’s been darkened; as the alloys, chrome trim grille surround, side vents and iconic trident logo are all darker than usual.
While it may seem “if you have one Maserati Nerissimo, you have them all” the Quattroporte and Ghibli have tinted LED headlights whereas the Levante SUV has black highlights surrounding the fog lights and black skid plates. All three can be had with 20- or 21-inch alloys with either a dark or gloss black finish.
The interior is radically different compared to standard models as the Levante is equipped with sports seats, multi-zone climate control and power-adjustable foot pedals. The Maserati Nerissimo Ghibli is fitted with sports seats and Dark mirror trim while the Quattroporte can be had with either carbon fibre or piano black trim along with tinted windows, automatic boot lid and reverse camera.
More than Maserati Nerissimo series on show
Alongside the dark models, Maserati has three other unique models displayed during the Geneva Motor Show. One of which is a Quattroporte S Q4 GranLusso finished in Blu Passione completed with 21-inch rims with black brake callipers. Within close proximity is a Bianco Alpi Ghibli S Q4 GranLusso riding on a set of 20-inch alloys with polished aluminium brake callipers. Inside, this particular model has red leather upholstery complimented with ebony trim and Ermenegildo Zegna silk accents.
The third and final car is a Maserati GranCabrio MC decked out in Bianco Birdcage paint and complemented with 20-inch alloys and a leather/Alcantara interior with hints of carbon fibre.
Dubicars.com has new Maserati and used Maserati for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
