Lexus has already announced a successor to the much loved LS 460 with both petrol and hybrid motors, and it looks like there is a ‘sporty’ version coming to in the guise of an LS 500 F Sport.
The luxury Toyota division has yet to reveal any information about the model, but we expect the LS 500 F Sport to drop with aggressive styling found on other F Sport models complete with sharper lines and a small rear spoiler. We also expect sportier cabin materials and options inside as well as the exclusive Dark Rose colour palette to cover the seats.
A tuned chassis is also a possibility with tweaked suspension and steering to offer a sportier drive. With that comes buttons in the centre console to allow drivers to switch modes with ease. Don’t expect a dedicated drift mode button, though.
In terms of power, the source could be a petrol powered 3.5-litre twin turbo V6 rated at 400+ horsepower and 600 Nm or torque or a non-turbocharged V6 aided by electric motors to generate over 350 horsepower.
More is to be revealed later this month of the LS 500 F Sport when it’s on show at the New York Motor Show.
LS 500 models and their Hybrid variant along with the LS 500 F Sport model are set to go on sale later this year with an unconfirmed price. It is also unknown if the model will ship as a 2017 model or 2018.
Until then, we’ve got new Lexus and used Lexus for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
