Lexus has revealed they are working on a new flagship SUV concept. Known as the LF-1, the Japanese luxury brand has conveniently provided one image of what to expect.
From the only teaser image revealed, an elegant sloping roofline gives us a hint that the LF-1 will arrive as a luxury SUV Coupe to do battle with the BMW X6, Mercedes GLE/GLC Coupe and the rumoured Range Rover Coupe.
Additionally, a split rear spoiler sits atop the rear tailgate with streamlined LED’s built-in while a bold LED strip runs from either end of the rear and extended briefly along either side.
Alloy rims shimmer brightly in the bottom left-hand corner while an infotainment system dominates the interior.
CALTY design studio is responsible for the project. Based out of Southern California, the new concept is expected to give us a glimpse into the future of Lexus’s design language with the luxury brand describing the vehicle as a “crossover with no limits.”
Lexus also has another crossover SUV on the horizon. Bearing the UX moniker, we’ve yet to see a production model of this vehicle with a concept being first revealed last year in Paris, however, as Lexus has filed trademarks for UX 200, UX 250 and UX 250h, it’s only a matter of time before the UX goes into production.
LF-1 full reveal is not too far away
Lexus is expected to fully reveal the new LF-1 flagship SUV concept at the 2018 North American International Motor Show in Detroit.
Dubicars.com has new Lexus and used Lexus for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
