Six years ago, Lamborghini unleashed the Aventador into the wild and ever since, it’s lit up every street its four wheels have travelled. In 2017, it’s about time for an update and an additional letter. Here it is, the 2017 Aventador S.
Although the Italian brand is dubbing the vehicle as a “new generation” it serves as a mild refresh with increased aggression thrown in making the beast far more fierce than ever before. Complete with a pointy nose, flared out rear wheel arches, larger front spoiler and blacked-out rear diffuser. The latter is also available in carbon fibre upon request of course.
All the exterior enhancements add 130 percent more downforce to keep the Aventador S glued to the ground at high speed even though it still packs the original fire spitting V12 6.5-litre petrol motor which the raging bull has tuned to spew out a mega 750 horsepower.
Aventador S models are also equipped with four-wheel steering giving drivers who prefer to cruise at lower speeds additional control or for those zipping around town benefit come increased agility. Other enhancements include revised suspension, rear springs and damping system.
Gadget fans will be happy to know that the Aventador S is fitted with Apple CarPlay, a crisper digital dashboard display and a built-in lap time recorder. For those who want even more customisation, the Italian brand opens its doors to the Ad Personam program to give buyers a wide variety of options, colours and accents.
Aventador S models are priced at $421,350 which is equivalent to around AED 1,547,620. These models are destined for showrooms sometime in 2017.
