In 2018, we’ll finally see the launch of the epic Lamborghini Urus and the Lamborghini lineup expand to three cars including the Huracan and Aventador respectively. Is the Italian considering another model for a wider market spread?
Sources seem to think so, and Cheif Executive Stefano Domenicali may have hinted at the possibility.
What this fourth model could look like. While we could look at the Lamborghini Asterion for a second and wonder if plans to scrap it was just a rumour, but that appears not to be the case.
Could a four-door sedan style vehicle be in the pipeline? Probably not. So many questions remain.
If Lamborghini green light the additional model, it would go on to challenge other “entry-level” supercars from the likes of McLaren and their 570S and Ferrari’s Dino, revival model.
With this in mind, it gives the raging bull additional resources to fend off the upcoming 720S rolling out of McLaren’s doors and finely tune the Aventador family.
If they do decide to go ahead with the idea, the model won’t use any of the current model’s engines, transmissions or underpinnings as the CEO wants to launch a unique product that can’t be found elsewhere.
Considering that, could we see a V6 twin turbocharged motor join the ranks, seeing as the brand already has a V12, V10 and a V8 already in their lineup.
