With the introduction of the new 2019 Hyundai Veloster, the South Korean manufacturer are working diligently on their performance division. Having already unveiled the potent i30 N, they’ve got another hot hatch on the way; the Hyundai Veloster N.
Having been developed on the notorious Nurburgring in Germany, visible styling cues play a vital role for the hot hatch, as it not only sports an eye-popping Performance Blue paint job complete with red highlights, it proudly wears new side skirts, enlarged rear spoiler, a larger exhaust outlet and sizeable rear diffuser.
Underneath the aggressive body, Hyundai has fitted an adaptive suspension system that automatically adjusts itself depending on the drive mode selected. Meanwhile, an electronic limited slip differential keeps the model in check and the front suspension is tuned to minimise torque steering.
What drives the Hyundai Veloster N?
Bellowing beneath the bonnet is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine rated at 275 horsepower and 362 Nm of torque. Customers eyeing up the South Korean hot hatch can choose from an automatic gearbox or a desirable six-speed manual gearbox.
Expect the 2019 Hyundai Veloster lineup to pop up in GCC showrooms later this year.
As of writing, it’s unknown whether or not the Hyundai Veloster N will go on sale in the UAE and surrounding countries. We would love to see this bright blue rocket along with the i30 N light up the streets of the Emirates.
Dubicars.com has new Hyundai Veloster and used Hyundai Veloster for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
