Hyundai Palisade to arrive in MENA region next summer

Revealed at the recent LA Motor Show with three rows of seats, plenty of space and a vast assortment of technology, the 2020 Hyundai Palisade will be available in the select MENA countries in Summer 2019.

With bold styling and a dominant cascading front grille, the premium SUV is ready to make a statement with eight-seats as standard.

Inside, Hyundai’s flagship SUV is fitted with Nappa leather, a number of USB ports available on all three rows and One-Touch second-row seats that can ‘put-away’ with a press of a button.

With a top-tier model comes a plethora of top-tier tech. Up front is a 12.3-inch fully digital TFT dashboard cluster and a 10.25-inch TFT infotainment system. Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, an Infinity audio system and a Qi wireless charging pad are all available.

As for safety, the Hyundai Palisade comes with a Heads-up display, smart cruise control, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, forward collision avoidance assist and lane following assist plus much more.

Regarding the engine, power comes directly from an Atkinson-cycle 3.8-litre direct-injection V6 petrol motor rated at 291 horsepower and 355 Nm of torque at 6,000 RPM. Connected to an 8-speed automatic gearbox with a multi-plate torque converter, drivers can instantly shift into two-wheel or HTRAC four-wheel drive configurations.

Pricing for the MENA region has yet to be revealed for the Hyundai Palisade.
