The Hurtan Grand Albaycin has been launched in the UAE. The Grand Albaycin is a retro-themed luxury car manufactured by Spanish car manufacturer Hurtan. The Grand Albaycin is a car that stands out with its retro and flamboyant styling. It is the flagship of the Hurtan range of cars and is now available for purchase in the UAE.
Hurtan Automoviles was established in 1991 by Juan Hurtado Gonzalez as a manufacturer of luxury cars. Its first product, the Albaycin T2 was introduced in 1992 with a styling inspired by the cars of the 1950s and 1960s. The same design and styling theme stuck to all other cars from Hurtan.
The Hurtan Grand Albaycin is a luxury retro sports car introduced in 2008. Over the years, it has undergone some design changes and what we now get in the UAE is its most flamboyant avatar yet. Circular headlamps, lots of chrome, and lots of curves perfectly describe the design of the Grand Albaycin.
Up front is an in-your-face chrome grille flanked by circular headlamps and bumper-mounted fog lamps. Even the indicators on the bumper are circular. On the side profile, the car carries a curvaceous design that is very indicative of older sports cars and one can’t just ignore the elaborate wheel design.
The retro sports car theme continues inside the car too. The two seats are decked in premium leather, and it also boasts a touchscreen infotainment system, premium speakers, and climate control. Most of the Hurtan Grand Albaycin is customisable and buyers can have it built to their taste.
The Hurtan Grand Albaycin is powered by a 2.0-litre inline-four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine putting out 184hp and 205Nm. A 6-speed manual gearbox is available as standard equipment while a 6-speed automatic will be optional.
