Officials have declared that this Sunday (18/11/2018) parking will be free across Dubai to mark the Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) birthday.
According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), all paid parking zones within the Emirate will be free apart from multi-level parking structures.
Normal parking fees will resume the following day (Monday 19/11/18) across the Emirate.
All RTA customers’ happiness will be closed this Sunday, however, two smart centres in Umm Al Ramool and RTA Head Office will remain open with usual timings. All vehicle registration centres and RTA partner centres will also be closed.
Timings will also be adjusted accordingly for public buses, inter-city buses, the Dubai Ferry, Abra services, and external stations. The Dubai Metro Red and Green line will continue to run on an identical schedule as per usual.
