SEMA kicks off this week! A Plethora of enhanced machinery is heading to the show as is a literal monster truck from Ford. After a quick trip to the RTR workshop, the Ford F150 RTR is heading to SEMA with immense power and a few revised features.
The Ford F150 RTR follows in the tyre tracks of the Mustang RTR with signature LED lights and a new grille. Moving further along, the truck receives branded skid plates, redesigned tailgate with RTR logo and enlarged fender flares.
Each corner benefits from a set of RTR Tech 6 rims wrapped in 33-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler rubber.
RTR hasn’t revealed the interior, but previously, they have stated the enhanced truck is equipped a Katzkin interior and a unique plaque signed by drifting legend, Vaughn Gittin Jr.
Can you handle the Ford F150 RTR?
While the RTR pickup is menacing to look at, what hides beneath sends chills down your spine. RTR has taken a standard 5.0-litre V8 and cranked the dial up to 11. Rated at a mind-boggling 600 horsepower, the heavy-duty truck benefits from a 10-speed automatic gearbox which drives each corner.
Other performance enhancements include a heavy-duty rear axle, new coilovers, extended double wishbone suspension, upgraded rear dampers and new payload maximiser springs.
Ford and RTR have yet to confirm if this monster truck will make it out of the concept phases, but with enough interest, the two would be mad not to start a limited production run.
