Dodge Challenger Demon to ship with more power than a Veyron!

By now you’ve heard of the Challenger Hellcat with its 707 horsepower spewing out the rear end at an alarming rate. Even though the American brand is over the moon and pushing the Hellcat into other vehicles, they are working on the Dodge Challenger Demon which is slated to be quite the beast.

As with the Hellcat, Dodge Demon Challenger ship with three separate power modes (Hellcat’s have two). Its powerful 6.2-litre V8 supercharged motor can pump out 757 horsepower at stage one, 815 hp at stage two and a mega 1,032 horses at stage three!

The third stage is only available for those who purchase the optional Performance Control Module. Priced at $3,000 or AED 11,020 the vehicle also has to be sipping on 100 octane fuel and be in drag mode.

Still, 1,000+ horsepower out of a coupe that doesn’t cost ludicrous amounts of money is mighty impressive, plus there will be more than a handful built over a few years.

Aside from the vehicles large power output, Dodge Challenger Demon models weigh in 90.7 kilos lighter than Hellcat models, has double the grip, additional launch force, rides on street-legal drag ready tyres. And from the single press image GM has released, Demon models sport a gaping hood scoop to suck in cool air and a rear spoiler.

More information, release date and price is to be revealed at the ongoing New York Motor Show.

Until the Dodge Challenger Demon launches, we’ve got new Dodge Challenger and used Dodge Challenger for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
