It’s almost opening day for the Chicago motor show. Dozens of new, updated and custom cars are set to stun the crowds but just before it kicks off, here’s a sneak peak at two Dodge Ram special edition models heading to the stage.
First off is the Ram Heavy Duty Night Model. Available in Bright Silver Metallic, Delmonico Red Pearl, Granite Crystal Metallic, Bright White, and Brilliant Black Crystal, this edition sports 20-inch custom rims on each corner, unique badges, black grille, darkened headlights and optional black rectangular running boards.
Available exclusively in crew cab configuration in 2500 and 3500 variants, dual-zone climate control, powered front seats plus cloth and vinyl covered seats are standard.
Copper Sport 1500 is the second special edition rolling in. Exclusively available in Copper Pearl, black stripes highlight the bonnet, black Ram badge adorns the front grille and a selection of 20 or 22-inch alloy rims are available.
Its unique colourings continue inside with each of the seats covered in black with orange accents as is the dashboard. On top of standard equipment, an Alpine sound system with nine speakers and a subwoofer are fitted.
These models are limited to just 3,000 units and are powered by a 5.7-litre V8 petrol motor powering the rear wheels as standard or all four wheels optionally.
Night packages start at $46,840 or AED 172,050 whereas Copper Sport models start from $46,950 or AED 172,450. The latter are said to arrive later this month with Night variants wheeling in at a later date.
