Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the extension of free public parking across the Emirate until the National Sterilisation Programme ends.
According to a tweet posted by the RTA’s official account, free public parking has been extended until the end of the sterilisation period.
Dubai Authorities announced the extensions of the programme for two additional weeks on the 4th of April.
They also lifted the 8 pm to 6 am curfew, but extended the disinfection drive in the Emirate to 24 hours a day to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
Previously, free parking was only free between 8 pm and 6 am every evening.
Free public parking is also available in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
