The Maybach SUV has created quite the buzz recently. With everyone on their toes trying to figure out what’s on the horizon, a completely different SUV from the iconic brand has literally sprouted up out of nowhere.
Based off the already massive G500 4×4 squared and its regional equivalents, this Maybach SUV is to bare the G650 badge. Instead of a Biturbo V8, Maybach’s token V12 Biturbo motor squeezes in with a claimed 630 horsepower!
On top of the new engine, the wheelbase has been extended allowing for additional room in the rear.
Added to the four character name is Landaulet which hasn’t been accounted for since 2007. This particular moniker is reserved for those vehicles that are ultra luxurious and feature a soft top roof.
Front occupants are treated to similar yet upgraded components from its donor model where as rear passengers are treated to a soft top roof, two-seat setup with memory options, rear media console, two TV screens and a cabin divider for additional privacy.
Rumour has it that this Maybach SUV is destined for Geneva in a few weeks time, but we’re glad someone leaked it early as we can’t wait to see this rock the streets of the UAE. It’s said that only 99 if of these models are to be produced.
Alternatively, images of a potential G65 4×4² has been making the rounds. It’s presumed these two vehicles are linked.
