No, we’re not saying that you shouldn’t buy a 2018 Bugatti Chiron, however, if you want something a little different for around the same price, you should buy yourself an Icona Vulcano.
What’s that? We can hear you asking yourselves. Icona is a bespoke vehicle manufacturer, and this is their very first sports car with a body constructed from Titanium. 10,000 hours is how long one car took to be pieced together and inside carbon fibre and Alcantara make up the cabin along with a 12.3-inch infotainment system. The model pictured is on it’s way to Salon Prive in the UK and is not only ready for production but also to stun the crowds.
Originally shown off in 2013 at the Shanghai International Motor Show, two drivetrains were available to potential customers. One being a hefty V12 powering the rear wheels coupled with a hybrid system powering the front wheels and together they would pump out 950 horsepower or an 870 horsepower V6 twin turbocharged engine paired with two electric motors.
That’s all been changed as the company are offering a 6.2-litre supercharged V8 delivering 670 horsepower and 820 Nm of torque. 670 hp may not be close to the original outputs, however, due to the vehicle’s lightweight construction, 0-100 km/h is attainable in a blistering 2.8 seconds!
One example of the Vulcano holds a price tag of 2.78 million USD or AED 10,211,000 and pre-order books are supposedly open.
While it is their first car we don’t have any Icona vehicles for sale, we do have used Koenigsegg CCX for sale in Dubai though which is equally as impressive.
