Destined for Frankfurt Motor Show next month, BMW has dropped a fresh batch of BMW X2 pictures. Navigating through an urban jungle, the new four door model is still covered from head-to-toe in camouflage but not the colour palette we’re used too.
Instead of those headache inducing black and white swirls, BMW splashed shades of orange, yellow and grey to see how the X2 fits into cities.
Perfectly is your answer thanks to an aggressive front end and sloping roof line.
BMW aficionados may notice this model has something unique not seen on other Bimmer models. In case you missed it, the signature double kidney front grille is longer along the bottom rather than the usual top heavy version.
European customers are expected to receive a broad range of petrol and diesel motors. Across the pond in America, BMW X2 models are said to be available with four and six cylinder engines in sDrive or xDrive guises.
Don’t rule out a plug-in hybrid just yet as surely, BMW has an X2 version planned somewhere down the line.
BMW X2 will reportedly share similar hardware to the smaller X1. It also won’t be the only BMW on show next month. The Bavarian manufacturer will also bring an X7 and M5 supposedly both in production guise.
Without a doubt, this is to be a crowd favourite in the near future. AS previously mentioned, BMW X2 models will make their global debut next month with X7 and M5 models for company.
