Are you a diehard BMW fine and are in the market for a limited edition SUV to show off? BMW’s latest offerings of the X5 M and X6 M Black Fire Editions is exactly what you are looking for.
Coated in Black Sapphire Metallic, both models ride on 21-inch forged alloys finished in black and blacked out signature double-kidney front grille. Basically, everything is black except for the blue brake calipers.
Be careful parking one of these Black Fire Edition’s down a dark alley or anywhere at night as you may not be able to find it again.
If you think the interior is covered in a contrasting colour, I’m afraid you’re wrong as the cabin consists of black Merino leather, Black fire badges, piano black trim and an anthracite headliner.
There is a splash of Mugello Red highlighting the dashboard, seats and stitching. Red markings can also be found on the leather-wrapped steering wheel which can be replaced with an M Performance Alcantara steering wheel with blue highlights.
Powering both models is the potent 4.4-litre V8 M TwinPower petrol motor rated at 567 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. Mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox, the pair launch to 100 km/h in a lighting quick 4.2 seconds.
X6 M Black Fire Editions and its X5 M counterpart will go on sale later this year in Germany. As of writing, it is unknown if these dark editions will be made available in other markets. You could always import one.
