With the new X5 launching later this year, BMW has announced a limited run of BMW X5 models to celebrate the send-off, and they are the Limited Black and Limited White X5
Available in either Black Sapphire or Alpine White each Limited model is fitted with a blacked-out M Performance double kidney grille and a set of 20-inch alloys with M Badges.
The interior of both is identical with the cabin filled with black Dakota leather and aluminium trim. They are also fitted with a sunroof and a premium Harman/Kardon sound system.
Furthermore, each Limited White X5 and Limited Black X5 also comes with a special badge with the units signature serial number.
Based on the xDrive35d M Sport X5, power comes courtesy of a 3.0-litre twin-turbo diesel straight six which is good for 255 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque and is connected to an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
With that said, the SUV launches from standstill to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of 230 km/h.
There is a slight catch to all of this, the Limited White and Black X5’s will be strictly limited to Japan with 110 Limited Black units and 80 Limited White units. There is no mention of what side the steering wheel is on, and as Japan sells both right- and left-hand drive vehicles, there’s a possibility of importing one to the UAE.
Prices start at $98,326 or AED for the Limited White X5 or $99,164 or AED for the Limited Black X5.
