BMW i8 Roadster vehicles will utilise the same engine as coupe models. A 1.5-litre three cylinder motor paired with an electric motor. Together they produce a respectable 357 horsepower.
While we have known about the convertible i8 for some time, Making its debut in 2012 at the Bejing Motor Show, it showed up again last year at CES. This, however, is the first we’ve seen the vehicle ride the streets with heavy camo of course.

While the concept version of the BMW i8 Roadster was a breath of fresh air, this heavily disguised version is certainly toned done as the wing mirrors are back instead of two cameras as are the doors on either side.
Speaking of doors, with the new roof in tow, looks like the butterfly doors won’t be present for obvious reasons leaving out one of the vehicles unique features.
The BMW i8 Roadster is set to debut sometime in 2018 with an unknown price tag.
Upon launch, BMW could also introduce a mild refresh to the coupe model. We are also anticipating a handful of bespoke models to roll into Abu Dhabi’s premiership model. What colour could it be? Green, Yellow or Purple. Maybe something unique.
