With Chicago Motor Show done and dusted its time to focus on the next big car show: Toronto in Canada. Not only will this be the debut venue for the 2017 Hyundai Accent, but Aston Martin is also showcasing their heart-stopping AM-RB 001 in the flesh.
That’s right, the new age of hypercars is rolling through, and we’ll get a glimpse into the future of ultra lightweight machinery.
Aston Martin and Red Bull are keeping a tight lip on detailed specifications of the hypercar but what we do know is a naturally aspirated V12 is located underneath the stunning body with a small electric motor for company.
First mentioned during the summertime last year, Aston Martin’s AM-RB 001 will utilise advanced underfloor dynamics, and it will mark a momentous occasion as it will be a world first.
With the innovative technology, the AM-RB 001 will lap racetracks around the world in lightning quick times and stand level pegged with current generation Formula 1 cars.
Aston Martin is not the only automotive brand with a revolutionary hypercar currently in the pipelines as Mercedes-AMG are working an equally insane creation with a turbocharged 1.6-litre four cylinder motor vehicle bolted to an ultralight frame.
Toronto is not the only place we’ll catch a glimpse of it, as Geneva Motor Show is also on the cards for the machine.
