Earlier today, an Audi A7 test mule was spotted. It had all the necessary nips, tucks and heavy use of camouflage covering the exterior leading everyone who lays eyes on its eye-straining pattern that there are significant changes in store.
Upon further inspection, there does appear to be more than meets the eye as the car spotted has no exhaust tips sticking out the rear end, not even a muffler of pipe of any kind is visible. Audi could have covered them up by mistake to throw us all off our tracks. However, that seems highly unlikely as that would cause severe damage.
Also missing from the exterior is a fuel filler cap and once again if that is covered up, refuelling the rig would become a painstakingly long time to complete.
Next generation Audi A7 models are scheduled to unveil themselves sometime in 2017 at one of the major motor shows of the year, once launched its price will eventually follow suit as will a release date.

Audi has already expressed interest in producing a hydrogen-powered powered version of the A7 but only if sufficient infrastructure is to be built.
If this vehicle is, in fact, an all-electric one, it would fit into Volkswagen plan to launch 30 electric vehicles by 2025 across all of their brands. Audi is scheduled to launch their first non-petrol-guzzling machine in 2018 which is to be an SUV based on their 2015 e-tron Quattro concept.
