This special fleet aims to enhance the Dubai Police’s public image and has a presence in tourist areas and landmarks. Cars from this fleet often appear at events, showing the Dubai Police in a glamorous light.
However, these cars are not used for regular patrolling and general duty. Yet, the fact that some of the fastest cars are decked in the signature White & Green official colours of the Dubai Police, makes it the coolest police force in the world. Here are the top 10 supercars in the Dubai Police fleet.
10. Toyota Supra

Under the sleek body is a powerful BMW-sourced 3.0-litre turbo-petrol inline-6 that produces 382hp and 499Nm. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in just four seconds and will go on to a top speed of 260km/h.
9. Ferrari FF
The Ferrari FF is an all-wheel-drive, four-seat grand tourer, offering both performance and practicality. The FF denotes four seats and four-wheel drive. In fact, it was the first production Ferrari with all-wheel-drive.
It was inducted into the Dubai Police fleet in 2013. With a 6.3-litre V12 engine producing 651hp and 683Nm, it can reach a top speed of 335km/h.
8. BMW i8
Launched in 2014, it was BMW’s first plug-in hybrid sports car that offered supercar-rivaling performance. Just a year after it first went into production, the Dubai Police inducted the i8 into its fleet.
The BMW i8 stands out with its futuristic design and hybrid technology. Its combination of a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine and an electric motor gave it a combined output of 357hp and 570Nm. It has an electric-only range of around 24 kilometres.
7. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG
With its iconic gullwing doors, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is the spiritual successor to the legendary Mercedes 300 SL. It first went into production in 2010 and production ended in 2014. The Dubai Police introduced the SLS AMG into the fleet in 2013.
Its 6.2-litre V8 engine was the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated engine at the time. It produced 563hp and 650Nm, allowing the car to sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds and it goes on to a top speed of 315km/h.
6. Maserati Gran Turismo
The well-known GT from Italian marque Maserati was added to the Dubai Police fleet in 2019. With its 4.7-litre V8 engine producing 454hp, it accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 4.7 seconds.
In addition to being fast and comfortable, the Maserati Gran Turismo is also elegant and luxurious. Seeing one of them in the White & Green livery of the Dubai Police is satisfying, to say the least.
5. Audi R8 V10
The Audi R8 is a mid-engined supercar introduced by Audi in 2006 with V8 and V10 engine options. While the V8 featured fantastic performance for its time, the V10 took it up a notch or two. The Dubai Police opted for the high-performance V10-powered R8 and inducted it into the fleet in 2021.
The Audi R8 V10 is based on the same platform as the Lamborghini Huracan and shares its 5.2-litre V10 engine too. In the R8, it produces delivering 602hp and 600Nm, taking the supercar from 0-100km/h in just 2.8 seconds. It features a claimed top speed of 330km/h.
4. Aston Martin One-77
The Aston Martin One-77 is one of the rarest and most exclusive cars in the world. This makes it even more exotic as a police car. It first went into production in 2009 and over the next three years, only 77 units were produced. The Dubai Police acquired an Aston Martin One-77 in 2013.
A 7.3-litre V12 developed by Cosworth powers the One-77. With this engine producing 750hp and 750Nm, the One-77 accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds and will go on to a top speed of 354km/h.
3. McLaren Artura
The McLaren Artura represents the cutting-edge of hybrid supercar technology and is the latest supercar to get drafted into the Dubai Police fleet. It went into production in 2022 and entered service with the Dubai Police earlier in 2024.
A twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine, combined with an axial flux electric motor powers the McLaren Artura. This gives it a combined output of 671hp. It accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 2.9 seconds and will go on to a top speed of 330km/h.
2. Lamborghini Aventador
The Lamborghini Aventador, known for its aggressive styling and formidable performance is a Dubai Police favourite. The Lamborghini Aventador was produced between 2011 and 2022. The Dubai Police inducted the Lamborghini Aventador into the fleet in 2013.
The Lamborghini Aventador uses a 6.5-litre V12 engine that produces 690hp, enabling it to reach 100km/h in a mere 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350km/h. When it joined the Dubai Police fleet, it was the fastest and most expensive police car in the world.
1. Bugatti Veyron
Topping the list is the Bugatti Veyron, one of the fastest cars ever produced. The Bugatti Veyron was launched in 2005, and took the title of the fastest production car in the world. It was added to the Dubai Police fleet in 2014. Its 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine produces an astounding 987hp and 1,250Nm, propelling it from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 408km/h.
Despite being one of the older additions, the Bugatti Veyron remains the crown jewel of the Dubai Police supercar fleet. Unless the Dubai Police acquire the recently revealed Bugatti Tourbillion hypercar, the Bugatti Veyron will remain the pinnacle of performance in the Dubai Police’s fleet.
