Lamborghini Abu Dhabi and Dubai unveiled the highly-anticipated V12 plug-in hybrid hypercar, the Revuelto. The unveiling event took place at the Dubai showroom, where the Revuelto will be showcased for two days before being transported back. Interested buyers can now make bookings for this hybrid hypercar, and deliveries are scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2024.
Engine & Performance
Lamborghini has developed a V12 plug-in hybrid engine for the Revuelto. The 6.5-litre 12-cylinder engine is coupled to three electric motors and a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The engine and the electric motors are paired with a newly developed 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Two of the three electric motors power the front wheels, while the third motor sends power to the rear wheel. The entire system works flawlessly to deliver maximum performance with the help of torque vectoring and an all-wheel drive system.

Exterior Design
The Revuelto picks up from where the Aventador left off. The new hypercar continues Lamborghini’s striking design language with a Y-shaped theme making it a perfect bedroom wall poster.
- At the front, massive Y-shaped enclosures house both the headlight and air intakes, featuring Y-shaped light signatures.
- The rear features similar Y-shaped elements in the tail lights, along with high-mounted hexagonal-shaped exhaust ports.
- Y-shaped design features extend to the rear air intake and the sizable wheels: 20-inch front; and 21-inch rear.
- Fins behind the front wheel arches serve a functional purpose, channelling air along the sides and into large air intakes with an arrowhead-like outline.
Construction
The Revuelto differs from the Aventador with a carbon-fibre fuselage and frame, including significant bodywork. The carbon-fibre front structure not only reduces weight but also enhances energy absorption compared to the Aventador’s aluminium front frame.
- The Revuelto’s mono-fuselage is lighter and stiffer than the Aventador chassis.
- Revuelto’s aerodynamic efficiency has increased by 33% at the front and 74% at the rear compared to Aventador Ultimae.
- Lamborghini uses sustainable water-based paints and recycled polyester Corsa-Tex fabric with leather in the interior.
Interior & Features
The scissor doors reveal a redesigned interior influenced by the ‘Y’ design theme, aiming to give the driver a pilot-like experience. The cabin features a prominent carbon-fibre centre profile adorned with air vents.

Safety
The Revuelto is the first Lamborghini to feature the ADAS. This includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and rear cross-traffic alert; among others.
