Funny enough, both the Escalade and the Tahoe received the new-generation update back in 2021. Both SUVs look menacing and intimidating with their large profiles. The Escalade’s cabin is far ahead as compared to the Tahoe. Cadillac has equipped the Escalade with large screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment. Well, another section with a clear winner. The Escalade and the Tahoe regular versions are offered petrol engines paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Customers even get to choose between RWD or 4WD drivetrains. However, from the figures mentioned above, it can be clearly seen that the Escalade is the most powerful of the two as it comes equipped with a larger engine.
Both SUVs are also offered in a sportier performance version. Cadillac offers the Escalade V, while the Chevrolet offers the Tahoe High Country. Even in these versions, the Escalade dishes out more power from a supercharged V8.
