New York Motor Show is literally three days away, but that doesn’t seem to stop manufacturers from revealing what’s to come. Infiniti is jumping on the bandwagon with a ‘limited’ model. This is the Japanese luxury car builders second ‘limited’ model. After QX80 versions had proved popular one year ago, there was no doubt that they would test the waters with a different model. As crossovers are immensely popular, we can see why Infiniti choose the QX70.
Sporting a ‘Limited’ badge underneath its nameplate, a sleek coat of matte grey paint covers the exterior. Then there’s the slightly new front end unique to this model, along with matching coloured side air vents, stainless steel front bumper protector and darkened rear lights and mirror cases.
Circular fog lights have been stripped out from up front and replaced by daytime LED lights, and you’ll notice, this vehicle proudly wears Infiniti’s new grille which will feature on all upcoming QX70 models. Sleek 21-inch rims appear on each corner, and rear lights are slightly tweaked.
Inside, ‘limited’ features are extended with a dark headliner, Graphite and Stone contrasting leather seats and trim, unique wooden trim with additional aluminium flakes thrown in for quite the finish. Foot pedals are made up of aluminum to complete the look.
All other luxurious options remain such as cooled front seats, fully electric seats, high definition navigation properties, Bluetooth pairing and more to keep those inside safe, entertained and comfortable.
No modifications made to the powertrain. An identical six cylinder 3.7-litre petrol motor is attached to a seven-speed automatic gearbox powering all four wheels. Numerous safety features appear on 2017 models. Including smart cruise control, moving object detection, lane departure warning and more on top of all the cameras and parking sensors scattered all over the exterior.
Sales are expected to start later in the year, with no official price confirmed or availability announced as of yet. And with all new vehicles being unveiled recently, 2017 Infiniti QX70 Limited models will debut at the New York Motor Show.
