In East Asia, Toyota has revealed the 2021 Toyota Yaris sedan with a new face. Boasting the Vios nameplate, the fresh face echoes that of a previous generation Toyota Camry.
The new facelifted Yaris gets a larger two-part grille with higher trim levels getting LED headlamps, part-LED taillights and a new set of 16-inch alloys.
Under the bonnet, there are no changes as the 2021 Yaris retains both the 1.3- and 1.5-litre engines. Rated at 98 and 105 horsepower, a CVT will channel power to the front axle. A manual box will not be sold in the UAE.
It is not yet known if the facelifted 2021 Toyota Yaris will go on sale in the UAE and surrounding GCC countries. As of writing, the model is available in certain countries in Asia bearing the Toyota Vios nameplate.
