After a leak sprung last week, Porsche has officially revealed the new Porsche Cayenne GTS.
Available in both SUV and Coupe from, the latest GTS drops the twin-turbo V6 in favour for a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8! Now producing 454 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque, the Cayenne GTS rockets to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 270 km/h.
With the V8 equipped, the new Cayenne GTS cranks out 20 HP more compared to its predecessor.
With the Sport Chrono Package equipped, the new GTS is 0.6 seconds faster in a standard sprint from 0-100 km/h while the top speed is eight km/h higher.
As standard, the vehicle sport-tuned suspension that lowers the vehicle by 20mm. Both models are also fitted with Porsche Active Suspension Management and Porsche Vectoring Plus as standard. Rear-axle steering, Dynamic Chassis Control, and three-chamber air suspension are optional.
To set itself apart from the rest of the lineup, the GTS is equipped as standard with the Sport Design package. This addition gives the Cayenne black accents, stain-gloss Black 21-inch RS Spyder Design wheels, dark-tinted rear LED light bar, and Porsche’s signature LED headlights.
The tailpipes of the sports exhaust and the Porsche logos are all black too.
Inside, the cabin is fitted with high-quality materials. Alcantara lines the roof while dark-brushed aluminium serves as accents on the dashboard and panels.
GTS logos sporadically appear in the cabin including the rev counter, headrests, front doors and door entry sills. Customers can further customise the cabin with the GTS interior package, with additional colour accents in Carmine Red or Crayon.
