Unveiled earlier this year, UAE residents who have been aching to get behind the wheel of the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door, the wait is finally over as the vehicle has officially arrived in the UAE.
Mercedes-Benz Cars Middle East unveiled the all-new AMG GT 4-Door at an exclusive event in Abu Dhabi at the brand new Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort.
What to expect from the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door lineup in the UAE
A range of packages are available including the Night Package which adds high gloss black trim, the Chrome Package which adds high-gloss trim and inserts, the Aerodynamic Package which gives the vehicle sportier credentials and two distinct Carbon Fibre Packages that add various amounts of carbon fibre trim.
Inline-six versions can also be had with a V8 style package.
Two V8 versions are up for grabs in the UAE; the GT 63 and GT 63 S. Both have 4.0-litre displacements and an all-wheel drivetrain but have different outputs. The standard GT 63 is rated at 585 horsepower whereas the GT 63 S is good for 639 hp.
Six-cylinder powered AMG GT 4-Door Coupe’s will be available in the Middle East early next year with a 3.0-litre displacement and 435 horsepower.
Eventually, a hybrid version will be available, although, if it will be heading to the GCC region remains unknown.
