Lamborghini has taken a leap in the unknown by creating a one-off. It may come as a shock to some, but this is actually the first time Lamborghini has created a bespoke car for a customer and it’s known as the Lamborghini SC18.
Based on the Aventador and created by Lamborghini’s motorsport division plus some input from the owner, the one-off Lambo is designed for track days as it features aggressive aerodynamics inspired by motorsports.
Up front, the air intakes are influenced by the Huracan GT3 EVO while the hood-mounted air scoop and rear fin stick out of the engine covering mimics the Huracan Super Trofeo EVO.
Fitted to the rear is a large carbon fibre spoiler with three mechanical adjustments while the previously mentioned engine cover of the Lamborghini SC18 has twelve distinct vents to improve cooling.
Mounted behind the seats of the Lamborghini SC18 is a 6.5-litre V12 petrol engine rated at 759 horsepower and 720 Nm of torque. That means the one-off is as powerful as the Aventador SVJ which sprints from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds before maxing out at 350 km/h.
Lamborghini hasn’t gone into full details of the SC18, but they did confirm the engine will be connected to an optimised seven-speed ISR gearbox.
Although the Lamborghini SC18 fits right at home on the track, the radical sports car is street legal and yes there is only one in the entire world.
