Blacked out vehicles appear to be ‘thing’ nowadays. Before, they were aftermarket dark surfaces added to one’s car after purchase. However, over the past couple of months, we’ve seen Rolls-Royce and Maserati produce Black Edition models straight from the factory, and now we can add Chevrolet to the list with their 2018 Tahoe Custom Midnight.
Based on the LS variant, the 2018 Tahoe Custom Midnight edition features a seat of 18-inch black alloys, black grille, off-road sidesteps and blacked out signature Chevrolet emblem. The third-row seats have been removed to increase cargo capacity behind the second row.
Customers can choose between a 4WD or 2WD drivetrain with the later sending power the rear axle. Only one engine is available; a 5.3-litre V8 motor rated at 355 horsepower allowing the SUV to tow up to 2,994 kilos
