2019 Porsche 911 teased

Wrapped up in black and white swirls, Stuggart’s finest has teased the upcoming 2019 Porsche 911. It’s hard to spot what’s new although previously, spy shots have revealed a new LED brake light strip and a revolutionary interior complete with multiple screens.

Don’t expect Porsche to drop the ball anytime soon either as the German brand is not yet ready to let anything slip. What we can look forward too is a traditional driver-focused sports car Porsche are known for. There’s no doubt the 2019 Porsche 911 will be more technologically advanced compared to the current model, but August Achlentier, Product Director of the 911 only want’s to put them in if they can be turned off by owners.

Is that all for the 2019 Porsche 911?

Mr Achlentier has made it clear the new 911 will not receive any autonomous features at all. However, he did hint at the possibility of a hybrid variant of the 911 sports car. Said to be an “option somewhere down the line” rumours of a 911 hybrid have run rampant over the past few months with select sources indicating it could be here in five years.

As for the motor, both the 2019 Porsche 911 Carrera and Carrera S models are expected to retain the 3.0-litre twin-turbo flat-six motors that debuted last year. Currently, these engines generate 370 and 420 horsepower respectively. We wouldn’t be surprised to see a slight boost in power in 2019.

Expect the 2019 Porsche 911 to be revealed towards the end of the year ahead of a 2019 launch.

Dubicars.com has new Porsche 911 and used Porsche 911 for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
