It’s hard to believe that just 30 years ago BMW introduced to the world their first drop-top high-performance vehicle to the world. Fast forward thirty years and the Bavarian brand is celebrating the occasion with an exclusive BMW M4 30 Jahre convertible.
Available with two unique colours; Macao Blue Metalic and Mandarin II Uni. The former pays tribute to the vehicle’s debut three decades ago while the latter is similar to a paint scheme previously available for the second generation of the BMW M3 convertible.
As standard, the BMW M4 30 Jahre is fitted with BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line trim highlighting the signature BMW double kidney front grille, M side gills, model badges and the star-spoke 20-inch alloys. The bespoke alloys are finished in Orbit Grey matt and are exclusive to the model.
Inside, the unique theme continues to match the exterior. Customers who chose Macao Blue are treated at two bespoke Merino two-tone leather with contrasting stitching. Meanwhile, those who choose the eye-popping shade of yellow receive a black interior with yellow highlights. Both are fitted with Carbon Fibre trim, a signature plaque marking the vehicles exclusivity, and “30 Jahre Edition” door sill plates.

As an added bonus, the BMW M4 30 Jahre convertible is equipped as standard with the M Competition package; this adds adaptive M Suspension, direct steering ration and a potent straight six-cylinder 3.0-litre TwinPower Turbo engine pushing out 444 horsepower. Also as standard is an Active M Sport exhaust system and an Active M differential.
